Antique 19thC HORSE FOLK ART AAFA Carved Wood/ Primitive/ Pennsylvania/ Pull Toy
Antique 19thC HORSE FOLK ART AAFA Carved Wood/ Primitive/ Pennsylvania/ Pull Toy. 19th century skirted, renaissance-style horses found in Lancaster County, PA. Hessian covered wood, paint, silver thread, harness, etc. Wear with scattered losses including 3 of the 4 hames finials and 1 ear. Pin holes in bottoms of feet suggest a platform of some sort but then I'm not sure why the legs needed to be individually jointed.
They measure approx 11"L x 10.5"H x 7W. See pics for additional details and please ask any questions you might have.
