Really quite fine antique palm fiber doll measuring 5 1/2" tall by 5 1/2" long. Palm fiber dolls were usually the province of Native American Seminole Indians.
The faces are intricately inked on and this charming doll depicts a Lady sitting side saddle holding a baby with a little girl riding behind her. Dates to the late 19th Century. The horse will stand if you play around with his leg positions and is really quite sturdy.
